Trustees

The Trustees care for the property of Grace Church and the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church. The Trustees are under the direction of and reports to the Administrative Council. They work with the pastor to oversee the upkeep of all building, land, machinery, and parsonage. The also supervise the legal transactions of the church (insurance, titles, mortgages, etc.).

Staff-Parish Relations Committee

The Staff/Parish Relations Committee cares for the communication flow between the pastor and the congregation regarding job performance, personnel needs and issues, conflict resolution and reconciliation. Reports to the Administrative Council on salary and benefit recommendations for all staff members. Assists the pastor and Administrative Council in developing job descriptions and expectations for all paid staff. Works to support and uplift staff with prayer and other gestures of caring. Reports directly to the District Superintendent in the event of a change in pastoral leadership.

Finance

Finance monitors the financial affairs of the church and reports to the Administrative Council. Works with the pastor and Administrative Council to initiate funding strategies for the various ministry projects of the church.

Committee on Education

The Committee on Education works with the pastor and Sunday School teachers to oversee the Christian Education at Grace Church. Responsible for ordering and maintaining Sunday School curriculum and classroom supplies. Under its umbrella is age level ministries to children, youth, and adults. An off shoot is Wednesday night Club Grace.

Committee on Evangelism & Membership

This committee is basically nurture and outreach. Caring for those who are a part of Grace Church and reaching out to those who need a church. This committee works with the pastor to review membership lists and provide confirmation class. It also initiates evangelism projects at the church.

Committee on Missions

The Committee of Missions work to provide projects in n which our church can reach out to others, by supporting missionaries and church wide projects such as Festival of Sharing.

Committee on Worship

The Committee on Worship works with the pastor to initiate and develop quality worship experiences for the congregation and its visitors. Includes Fine Arts Committee that is responsible for decorating the church and Music Department including Chancel, Chapel, and Cherub Choir directors.
